Microcredentials in Higher Education: From Vision to Practice

Microcredentials gewinnen im europäischen Hochschulraum zunehmend an Bedeutung. Sie bieten Hochschulen neue Möglichkeiten, flexibel auf sich wandelnde Kompetenzbedarfe zu reagieren und lebenslanges Lernen, Internationalisierung, Wissenstransfer und Innovation zu stärken.

Das englischsprachige Online-Training des DAAD-geförderten Projekts TRUST – Transfer for a European Smart Transformation verbindet europäische Perspektiven und Standards mit konkreten Praxisbeispielen aus Hochschulen und Europäischen Hochschulallianzen. Ein interaktiver ABC Learning Design Workshop ermöglicht den Teilnehmenden zudem, erste Ideen für ein eigenes Microcredential zu entwickeln. 

Zielgruppe: Lehrende sowie unterstützendes Verwaltungspersonal in den Bereichen Lehre und Didaktik, Internationalisierung, Weiterbildung sowie Transfer und Innovation.

Strategies, Standards and Institutional Practice for Internationalisation and Lifelong Learning

Microcredentials are becoming increasingly important in European higher education. They offer universities new opportunities to respond flexibly to changing skills needs while strengthening lifelong learning, internationalisation, knowledge transfer and innovation.

The English-language online training organised as part of the DAAD-funded TRUST – Transfer for a European Smart Transformation project combines European perspectives and standards with practical examples from universities and European University Alliances. An interactive ABC Learning Design Workshop will also give participants the opportunity to develop a first concept for their own Microcredential.

Target group: Academic staff and professional services staff supporting teaching and learning, internationalisation, continuing education, knowledge transfer and innovation.
