Prof. Dr. Florian Imgrund is Professor of Strategic Management and Organization at the Business School at Trier University of Applied Sciences. His academic profile combines strategic perspectives with organizational implementation, entrepreneurial thinking, customer-centric value creation, and digital business models.
Before his appointment as professor, Florian Imgrund spent ten years in senior management positions at Canyon Bicycles in Koblenz. There, he combined his personal passion for cycling with strategic and entrepreneurial responsibilities in a digitally driven direct-to-consumer environment. Working at the intersection of strategy, innovation, go-to-market, and business performance management, he most recently led the global implementation of mass customization as a customer-centric extension of the company’s business model.
Florian Imgrund studied Marketing and Sales at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences and at HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. He completed both his Master's degree and PhD in Marketing Management at the University of Duisburg-Essen. His doctoral dissertation focused on the customer-perceived value of service customization.
