Objective: You are familiar with different information and research tools and their most important functions. You will also be able to assess the possibilities of searching the Internet and evaluate their results.

Part II concentrates to electronic information tools, as these are the main tools used today.

  • You will learn which types of library catalogues can be used to search for information and how to find access to suitable specialist databases.
  • You will learn which search options are available in the different types of library catalogues and what bibliographic databases can be used for.
  • You will receive information on searching the Internet and on the qualitative evaluation of your search results.
