Your Stay at Trier University of Applied Sciences

After your arrival in Germany, you must either convert your visa into a residence permit or—if you entered without a visa—register with the Foreigners’ Registration Office in Trier.

Appointments can be scheduled online via the City of Trier website.

Telephone inquiries are only available for general matters via the public service number 115.

To participate in student life, you will need your student ID card. After your enrollment has been confirmed, you must collect it in person from the Student Services (Registrar’s Office) by presenting your ID document. Without your student ID card, you will not be able to create a user account, which is required to access all online platforms:

All relevant information, as well as binding deadlines, can be obtained from the Student Services of Trier University of Applied Sciences or from your program director.

If in doubt, it is better to ask one more time than to miss an important deadline.
