Funding

The International Office of Trier University of Applied Sciences receives funding from the Foundation of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate to provide financial support to international students.

You must be officially enrolled at Trier University of Applied Sciences and be making satisfactory academic progress in your studies.

Applications must be submitted directly to the International Office at your campus.

Please include the following documents with your application:

• Cover sheet (please use the form provided)
• Letter of motivation addressed to the International Office
  Please briefly describe:
  your financial situation and your academic background
• Data sheet (please use the form provided) with your original signature
• Declaration of acceptance and data protection form with your original signatures
  (Please complete your “personal data” digitally on the first page, print the document, and fill in the highlighted fields on pages 2 and 3 by hand.)
• Transcript of records (from QIS)
• Letter of recommendation (please use the template) with original signature or sent directly by the lecturer via email to the International Office
• Copy of your current certificate of enrollment (instructions for printing available)
• Copy of your passport

Current application deadline: You may submit an application at any time.
However, we cannot guarantee that funding will still be available.
The maximum funding amount is €500 (one-time payment).

Das International Office der Hochschule Trier erhält von der Stiftung des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz Mittel, um ausländische Studierende finanziell zu unterstützen.

Sie müssen regulär an der Hochschule Trier eingeschrieben sein und in Ihrem Studium ordentlich vorankommen.

Den Antrag stellen Sie direkt beim International Office bei sich am Campus.

Bitte fügen Sie dem Antrag folgende Unterlagen bei:

• Deckblatt (Formular verwenden!)
• Anschreiben an das International Office
  Bitte stellen Sie darin kurz dar:
  Ihre finanzielle Situation und Ihren akademischen Werdegang
• Datenblatt (Formular verwenden!) mit ihrer Original-Unterschrift
• Annahmeerklärung und Datenschutzblatt mit ihren Original-Unterschriften
  (Bitte auf der ersten Seite ihre „Persönlichen Daten“ am PC ausfüllen / ausdrucken / auf Seite 2 und 3 die gelb markierten Felder handschriftlich ergänzen.)
• Notenauflistung (aus QIS)
• Gutachten (Vorlage verwenden!) mit Original-Unterschrift oder per E-Mail vom Dozenten DIREKT ans Auslandsamt
• Kopie ihrer aktuellen Studienbescheinigung (Anleitung zum Ausdruck)
• Kopie Ihres Reisepasses

Aktuelle Antragsfrist: Sie können jederzeit einen Antrag einreichen.
Allerdings können wir nicht garantieren, dass noch Stipendien verfügbar sind.
Die maximale Förderung beträgt 500 EUR (einmalig!).
