  • Contents: The database offers a wide range of practice-oriented information in the fields of accounting, tax, controlling and finance.   • Contents: The online database of the publisher nwb (Neue Wirtschaftsbriefe) contains in various modules a comprehensive electronic range of tax and commercial law. Included are i. a.: trade journals of the publisher in full text, e. g.: BBK-accounting, inheritance and property (capital/assets), IWB - International Tax and Business Law, NWB - Tax and Business Law, StUB - company taxes and balance sheets, commenting works, bibliographic evidence ("Fachpresse kompakt"), legal decisions, administrative instructions (BMF letters, OFD / LFD orders, decrees of the Ministry of Finance, etc.), laws and directives (tax law, commercial law, double taxation agreements), tools (calculation programs, forms, checklists, sample contracts and letters etc.)
PSYNDEX (wiso)

  • Contents: "Bibliographic database on psychological literature and test procedures from German-speaking countries as well as psychologically relevant audiovisual media from all fields of psychology including psychologically relevant aspects from neighboring disciplines such as psychiatry, medicine, education, sociology, sports science, linguistics, business administration, criminology.

    The database consists of two segments:

    PSYNDEX Literature and AV Media.
    German- and English-language journal articles, books, collective works, reports and dissertations by authors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland are evaluated, as well as audiovisual media for training and further education (including the audiovisual media of IWF Wissen und Medien gGmbH, Video-Cooperative-Ruhr and FIM Psychologie).

    PSYNDEX Tests
    Published and non-published approx. 7,200 test procedures (tests, scales, questionnaires, apparative procedures, methods of computer-assisted diagnostics and diagnostic classification systems) are evaluated, which were developed in the German-speaking countries or adapted for the German-speaking area.

    All references are indexed according to the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms and the Psyndex Terms. The database is available in German and English. It is produced by the Leibniz Center for Psychological Information and Documentation (ZPID) in Trier, Germany. The ZPID also offers further information on this database." (DBIS, 07/2023)

At Statista.com, users can find statistics on over 80,000 topics from more than 18,000 different sources.   • Contents (DBIS): The "Wiley Online Library" is a multidisciplinary publishing portal that offers a variety of sources under one interface: electronic journals, books and book series as well as reference works published by Wiley / Wiley-VCH. The portal offers search options under various aspects including access to abstracts and full texts of open access journals. With purchased licenses, further full texts can be accessed.

  • Contents: The wiso database offers various media formats in the fields of economics and social sciences, psychology, law and technology. The University of Trier has licensed access to the module "journals" for its members. It makes it possible to access more than thirteen million German and English-language full texts from national and international (practitioner) journals, for example in the fields of 'Marketing & Advertising', 'Electrical Industry', 'IT', 'Legislation' or 'Environmental Management'.

    - Approximately 11,000 defining keywords explain relevant terms in the required brevity.
    - About 7,000 referring headwords - synonyms, abbreviations, English technical terms - deal with all other important terms of the whole of psychology and its peripheral areas.
    - The description of about 1,000 test procedures of psychological diagnostics completes the scientific basic and application knowledge.
    - 500 biographies of important psychologists.   
    - Over 400 illustrations.
    - A differentiated reference system links the individual keywords with the overview articles and thus clarifies the overall context.

  • Content: The database contains standardized professional curricula vitae and complete lists of publications by psychologists who are active in publishing in German-speaking countries. It is planned to link the author profiles with the Psyndex literature references. ZPID uses the database for the ZPID-Monitor on the internationalization of German-language psychology and other bibliometric analyses. The data were provided to ZPID by researchers upon request and are updated regularly. In the future, authors will be given the opportunity to accutalize their profiles themselves or to create a new profile. (DBIS 4/2023)
Social Science Open Access Repository (SSOAR)

  • Content: The full-text server SSOAR, maintained by GESIS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, collects and archives literature relevant to the social sciences and makes it freely available online in accordance with the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities. By archiving on SSOAR, authors and publishers support free access to scientific information and optimized visibility of social science research results. SSOAR essentially follows the path of Green Open Access and sees itself as a secondary publisher of quality-checked literature. (DBIS 4/2023)

  • Description (DBIS): The DigiBib digital library is a meta-search engine that enables simultaneous searches in German union catalogues, databases and international library catalogues (as at 05/2018). Supplement: Under the tab "Additional E-Media" you will find subject-specific link collections that will remit you to databases or specialist websites.
EconBiz

  • Description (DBIS): EconBiz is a research portal or discovery system for economics. It offers i. a .: (a) literature search in important German and international economic databases, including the holdings of ZBW, (b) access to free and licensed full texts on the Internet and (c) an event calendar for economic events the information service "Research Guide EconDesk" who answers questions on business topics and literature research.
     

    Under the menu item "Scientific Work" you will find (a) the research course "Guided Walk": research, full-text access, citation, (b) short video courses on topics of information-literacy and (c) how-to-guides.

    ECONIS, the catalog of the ZBW, Leibniz Information Center for Economics, is fully contained in EconBiz (State: 05/2018).

  • Content: The Leibniz Association brings together 87 institutions that conduct application-oriented basic research and provide scientific infrastructure. Included are books, articles from journals and collective works, research reports, working papers, lecture manuscripts, university publications and conference papers.
