Microsoft Teams in the Azure Cloud

In order to use Microsoft Teams, the following personal data must be transferred to the Microsoft Azure Cloud:

• First Name
• Last Name (surname)
• Academic Title (if applicable)
• E-Mail-Address
• ImmutableID (a unique number)

The transfer is always encrypted, just like the later activation of the license via Shibboleth.

The IT-departments do not recommend storing sensitive personal data (e.g. grades, examination results, student or staff lists) in Azure cloud storage, but instead advice to use the central data storage of the IT-departments and/or the university cloud service Seafile.

Log in via Shibboleth to confirm the transfer of necessary data.
