The library will be closed over Christmas and New Year, from 22 Dec 2025 to 4 Jan 2026. Borrowed media whose due dates would normally be during this period will not be due as of 5 January.

New: AI assistent in PRIMO

The PRIMO research portal of Trier UAS has now been expanded to include an AI assistant that helps you get started with your academic research.

The assistant offers you:

Natural language search entry: Simply enter your research question as text.
Feedback in the form of a short introductory overview based on the first five relevant PRIMO hits.
Suggestions for related questions.
Direct access to the complete list of hits and the original sources.

Results are delivered from our library stock and from other electronic PRIMO sources. The assistant is not intended to replace the classic search, but to supplement it with a quick, thematic introduction. As usual, all PRIMO functions are available for further research.

You can find the assistant directly in PRIMO; you must be logged in to the portal to use it.

New: Access to juris via the campus network

All members of Trier University of Applied Sciences can now access the licensed content of juris via the campus network (campus computers). The legal database offers, among other things:

case law (the most comprehensive collection of decisions on all areas of law, dating back to 1947)
references from over 600 specialist journals with abstracts
laws (current and historical versions)
practical reports
European law: case law and standards
journals.
