Trial Access to Detail Inspiration (Architecture and Civil Engineering)

From January 3rd, all university members will have four-week test access to Detail Inspiration, an online database for the fields of architecture, interior design and civil engineering.

The image and full text database DETAIL Inspiration contains over 6,000 project documentations of construction projects from 60 years of DETAIL (from issue 1/1961). Professional search functions and filter options based on main keywords, such as building type, material, year of construction or DETAIL issue topic, allow users to search for examples of creative building solutions in a targeted, fast and problem-oriented manner. The project descriptions with reference photos, drawings and technical information are available for download.

True-to-scale building plans make it easier to adopt and apply existing building solutions to your own designs. This makes DETAIL Inspiration, as a source of research and inspiration, an important working aid for architectural design work, also in the context of architecture teaching.

Database TEMA: Now accessible as wiso module

The contents of "TEMA - Technology and Management" are now accessible to all university members via the wiso database. They are stored in the "wiso TEMA" module.

The module offers you over 6.2 million references - including abstracts - from German and international scientific and applied literature (monographs, journals, conference reports, research reports, dissertations, as well as literature that is difficult to access).

The years 1921 to 2021 are covered.

Standards databases: Perinorm becomes Nautos

The new standards database Nautos is now available to all members of Trier University of Applied Sciences. It replaces Perinorm and allows you to search for standards from numerous standards organisations.

Nautos offers you, among other things, more than 2.5 million references for standards, technical rules, German legal regulations with technical relevance, VDI guidelines as well as European and international rules (e.g. CEN / CENELEC / ISO / IEC).

As a university member, you can access DIN standards (without VDE identification) and DIN EN standards in full text.

What is new?

  • modern, clearly arranged search mask
  • automatic search suggestions when entering in fields of the advanced search
  • online view for full texts
