Theo Smeets, Prof. for Jewellery Design at the Campus of Gemstones and Jewellery in Idar-Oberstein, speaks at the specialist symposium GemTec - Perspectives and Challenges in the Machining of Hard-Brittle Materials, which takes place during Intergem. Smeets will present the gemstones and jewellery degree programmes and give an outlook on a new, technical degree programme at the Trier University of Applied Sciences Campus in Idar-Oberstein, which is currently in the planning phase.
