"The exhibition at Galerie Handwerk aims to do justice to the phenomenon of using natural stone in a variety of ways, especially in an artistic way, and to show what creative possibilities are hidden in this sustainable material. The contributions come from a wide variety of creative crafts. They deal with house building, the ornamental paving of streets, the furnishing of bathrooms and even sculptures. They are stonemasons and stone sculptors, roofers and pavers, but also restorers in the preservation of historical monuments, who work with the beauty of the most diverse types of stone.
