DRIPLINE is a collective of six recent graduates from Trier University of Applied Sciences, Campus Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Coming from diverse cultural and artistic backgrounds, the members are united by a shared fascination with stone and the evolving language of contemporary jewellery.
Our name, Dripline, is derived from a method of watering in horticulture: where moisture is delivered slowly and directly to the roots of a plant, offering steady nourishment. DRIPLINE sees this as a reflection of their artistic practice which requires patience, care, and attentiveness to truly thrive. It also echoes the physical nature of the craft of stone cutting, which needs a continuous stream of water to shape and form the work.
The six members of DRIPLINE are:
Chun Chang (MFA, Taiwan)
Xi Chen (MFA, China)
Poras Dhakan (MFA, India)
Rezvan Hajian Hosseinabadi (MFA, Iran)
Gülçe Kulaç (BFA, Türkye/Germany)
Kristina Neumann (MFA, Australia/China)
Each member contributes an individual rhythm, philosophy, and perspective. Together, DRIPLINE emerges as a collective ecosystem of makers at the threshold between education and professional practice - nurturing creativity through shared growth, exchange, and experimentation.
This year, DRIPLINE will be exhibiting at INHORGENTA (20–23 February 2026) and the International Handicrafts Trade Fair IHM (4–8 March 2026) in Munich, among other events. Further information about the collective can be found on Instagram.
