You have a media request?

The scientific stock of the library is mainly selected by the departments of the Main Campus. Staff members have the opportunity to send media requests to their cooperation partners in the departments.

As a student of the university you are welcome to submit your suggestions for acquisitions to us. Just send us an informal e-mail. Your media request will be checked and - depending on the result - included in the next order. You will receive feedback from us or the departments.

Please note: If you need media for your work or research, you can use the interlibrary loan service or varios document delivery services to obtain scientific sources timely.

Media Requests: Students

Please send your acquisition requests to the service team of the library:

An informal e-mail is sufficient. Please tell us your personal data:

  • name
  • registration number
  • course of studies.

As bibliographical data are required for books:

  • author (monographs) / editor (collective works)
  • title
  • if known: ISBN.

For other types of media such as specialist journals or specialist DVDs, please specify the type of media (journal, DVD etc.), the title and other relevant information (ISSN, publisher etc.).

Media Requests: Employees

Please send your acquisition requests to your cooperation partner(s). Your suggestion will be reviewed and passed on to us for ordering.

An informal e-mail is sufficient. As bibliographical data are required for books:

  • author (monographs) / editor (collective works)
  • title
  • if known: ISBN.

For other types of media such as specialist journals or specialist DVDs, please specify the type of media (journal, DVD etc.), the title and other relevant information (ISSN, publisher etc.).
