In today's society there are hardly any taboos and much of what we call "beautiful" has taken on extreme forms. In Oblectamenta this tendency towards absurd perception plays the main role. Why shouldn't it be possible to change clothes like bodies through plastic surgery? Inflate them oversized and create a new silhouette? In Oblectamenta everything natural is eradicated. Everything human disappears and what remains is a work that reduces man to an object. It appears that everything material has devoured man.
