Videos in teaching are becoming increasingly popular. This semester we would like to give an introduction to the video server again and show possibilities of videos in teaching. For this we offer two dates at both locations.

Contents:

  • Short presentation of video formats in the university teaching
  • Upload and manage videos
  • Record sessions and live broadcast of sessions
  • Cutting of videos

Webinar student counseling

This spring for the first time didactic training courses offered as webinars. Webinars are virtual seminars where you can comfortably participate from home via your computer / laptop. Participation is open to all university members. To do so, click on the corresponding link on the day of the event and log in using the "Registration via DFN-AAI" button with your university ID at the server of the German Research Network. *

Content: In this webinar we will deal with different role requirements. which are presented to teachers, types of counseling situations and individual counseling phases within a counseling session, the role of counseling questions and different types of questions as well as dealing with "difficult" counselors.

Technical requirements: Computer, headset (optional, as far as you want to introduce speech contributions and not just chat messages). Content: We first look at the structure of a lecture as a typical large group event. Next, the advantages and disadvantages of this format are given and the meaning and purpose of activating methods are discussed. The following main section presents a set of methods that can be used in large group events and each have different goals, be it the activation of students, the consolidation of knowledge or the collection of feedback.
