On 12.11.2018 the award of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) was presented. The award honours foreign students who excel in both academic achievement and social commitment. This year's DAAD award winner is Sephora Anan-Ngoune, a computer science student from Cameroon. She was selected by the university's Senate Committee for International Affairs following a university-wide call for entries.
