Microcredentials are becoming an increasingly important instrument in European higher education. As flexible, quality-assured and stackable learning opportunities, they enable universities to respond to rapidly changing societal and labour market needs while strengthening lifelong learning, internationalisation and knowledge transfer.

Through the international online training "Microcredentials in Higher Education: From Vision to Practice", the TRUST project provides a practice-oriented introduction to the strategic development and institutional implementation of Microcredentials.

The training combines European policy perspectives with inspiring practice examples from universities and European University Alliances. Participants will gain insights into the European Approach to Microcredentials, explore successful implementation models and, in an interactive design workshop, develop first ideas for their own Microcredential concepts.

Target Group

The training is designed for academic staff as well as professional services staff supporting teaching and learning, internationalisation, continuing education, knowledge transfer and innovation at higher education institutions.
