Business Information Systems - Information Management (M.Sc.)

The ‘Business Information Systems’ master’s degree programme is deepening the students’ knowledge in information management. It mainly stresses the effective and efficient usage of information technology (IT) in enterprises and non-profit organisation. The topics of strategic IT planning, business process management, data mining and data science as well as architecture, usage and software enhancement of ERP systems are covered in detail.

Mandatory modules: Architecture and Implementation of integrated Systems, Business Process Management, Data Science, Data Warehouse, Implementation of ERP Systems, Internet: Technology and Applications, IT Management, IT Security, Operations Research, Requirements Engineering 2, Software Quality Management.

Elective modules: three courses have to be selected from the current offered modules of the Masters Programme Business Information Systems-Information Management, Business  Management and/or Computer Science

Seminar: One course has to be selected from the current seminars of the Master Programme in Business Information Systems-Information Management. 

Master thesis (6 months)
