The Intermedia application procedure is always worth a try. Especially if you don't really know if the Intermedia study suits you. During the application process you can get to know us and the study program. That way you will quickly notice whether you can do something with the course of studies or not.
Intermedia Design offers a course of studies for people with different orientations - be it design, art or technology. The decisive factors are your openness and your willingness to go through development processes as a creative person and to want to participate in the design of digital media.
Have a look at the external website for the subject area: www.intermediadesign.de
There we will show you what you can expect from your studies, what career prospects the studies will open up for you and what has become of former intermedia design students!
Due to very different qualification possibilities, there are the following possibilities to apply for the bachelor degree course intermedia design:
Sending in your application documents with portfolio and, if necessary, a supplementary concept
You send us work samples with artistic / design works (films, sound experiments, web designs, games, drawings, photographs etc.), gladly also sketches or idea drafts. If you have mainly analog works to show, please make sure to submit a concept for a digital media format (website, app, film, multimedia installation, game etc.). It does not matter if you have the necessary skills or not. The idea counts! What you submit in printed form, please do not attach as a digital copy. Please use only USB sticks as digital data carriers!
Alternative: You apply with a detailed concept for a media format (website, app, film, multimedia installation, game, etc.) that you would like to realize - regardless of whether you have the necessary skills or not. The idea counts!
In addition, the following application documents must be submitted:
