Bachelor's application

1. General higher education entrance qualification or advanced technical college entrance qualification

2. passed qualifying examination

3. An orientation internship (see below)

4. in special cases, the course can also be completed without a university entrance qualification.

The qualification examination is intended to demonstrate a creative talent. The test takes place in two stages:

1. PORTFOLIO EXAMINATION

   There are 15 independently produced works to be submitted. fields: Drawing, painting, sculpture, furniture design, photography, construction, perspective observation studies, planar or spatial composition. A completed application form should be enclosed. Only originals will be evaluated. After passing the portfolio examination, a written invitation to the final qualification exam will be issued.  (See DOWNLOADS)

   
   Dates for the submission of the portfolio and the application for the qualification examination:
       - for the summer semester by 01 December (cut-off deadline),
       - for the winter semester until 01 June (cut-off deadline).
   
   If you have successfully passed the portfolio examination, you will be invited to the final qualification exam. Regardless of the result, the submitted folders will be returned to you, usually within a maximum of 4 weeks, carriage forward.
2. FINAL EXAM
   The final exam takes place about 14 days after submission of the portfolios and lasts two days. It comprises examination tasks from the fields of drawing and presentation, planning and composition. The second day ends with a round table discussion.
   
   INTERNSHIP: The eight-week orientation internship should be completed in an architecture-related company and must be proven before beginning the course of study.
