You are interested in theoretical learning but you do not want to miss out on practical training? You are motivated, showing power of endurance and you are prepared to learn at two different locations? A cooperative study programme will offer you the opportunity to efficiently combine theoretical and practical training.

Terms of admission - Cooperative Bachelor Degree Programme

In order to apply for a  cooperative study course you need:

  • a Higher Education Entrance Qualification
    and
  • a signed indenture or internship contract with a cooperating partner/ practice partner

In a first step people interested in taking up a cooperative study course directly apply to one of our practice partners or alternatively propose a company that would be interested in becoming a cooperating partner of Trier University of Applied Sciences. We will check if a cooperation is possible.
In a second step you apply for the cooperative study course at the TUAS. Please take into account deadlines that need to be complied with and specific requirements and conditions of the respective degree programme.

Admission to a Bachelor's programmes, which is offered in a cooperative form, is also possible for persons who have acquired the school-based part of the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (/Fachhochschulreife). In this case, in addition to the certificate of the school-based part of the Fachhochschulreife, proof of the completed first year of training must be provided in the form of the professional training contract. Further information on the university entrance qualification can be obtained from the Study Service.

Terms of admission - Consecutive internship-integrated Master's Degree Programme

For admission to a consecutive internship Master's degree programme you need a completed internship contract with a cooperting partner of Trier University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's certificate. In addition, there may be restrictions in the Bachelor's degrees admitted, a minimum grade, aptitude tests or additionally required internships. The special admission requirements can be found on the information pages of the respective degree program.
