After a successfully completed Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, students are offered the opportunity to expand their specialist knowledge in a scientific and application-oriented Master’s Degree Programme. Self-organising skills and team spirit are promoted by specialist project work.

Students can currently choose from three specialised fields of study:

  • Construction Management
  • Structural Engineering
  • Transportation Engineering

A specialisation in Water Resources Engineering is presently not offered.

Detailed information

Admission requirements

The standard admission requirements for the Master’s programme in Civil Engineering are the following:

  1. Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree with 210 ECTS credits or equivalent graduate degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable scientific-technical course of study.
  2. A final grade of 3.0 or better or an equivalent grade point average in one of the aforementioned degrees.

Upon application, students with a completed Bachelor’s Degree with 180 ECTS credits are also possible to be admitted if they have worked as a Civil Engineer for a sufficiently long period of time.
