EU-Fundraising for Research and Innovation Workshop

Then sign up for the EU-Fundraising for Research and Innovation Workshop at Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld

When: September 2019, 27th and 28th

What:  Did you know that the European Commission co-finance research and innovation projects? The funding rate lies between 70% and 100%! Other institutions offer attractive funding schemes, too! So, in case you have a great project idea it is worth to consider a public funded project!

In this workshop, you will learn how to turn your innovative idea into a project and how to submit a successful application to a funding body. Focus will be laid on Horzion2020, the current funding programme for research and innovation of the European Commission.

In an interdisciplinary and international group, you will discuss research projects from different perspectives and learn how to bring them to life! Practical elements will help you to internalize the skills of successful fundraising.

This includes

  • Concretisation and structuring of a project idea
  • Finding the right funding programme and call
  • Finding the right partners
  • Developing a work plan and budget
  • Proposal writing

Who: The event is open to all members of the Hochschule Trier (students, professors and staff). It is free of charge. A certificate of attendance will be issued.

Lecturer: Nicole Klein, Innovation Manager and Fundraising Expert. As former business consultant for fundraising, Nicole already submitted successfully various project applications in different funding programmes.

Where: Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld / Campusallee, Building 9926, Room 011 (IfaS-Seminarraum) / 55768 Neubrücke

Time: Friday starts at 1 pm and ends at 6 pm, Saturday starts at 9 am and ends at 5 pm.
