2 Graduates from Idar-Oberstein Selected for Amberif Design Award

The winners of the 23rd edition of the Amberif Design Award are announced. While the three main prizes go to jewellers among Europe, two graduates from Idar-Oberstein got a honourable mention from the jury and will be published in the 2019 Amberif catalogue.

This year the competition subject was "Kairos" the jury assessed 147 works submitted by 117 artists from 28 countries.

Saerom Kong (MFA 2016) from South Korea and Sharareh Aghaei (MFA 2018) from Germany have been selected for a special publication in the Amberif Design Award Catalogue of 2019. Both works have been awarded for their strong concept and poetical narratives.
