Anyone with a family knows that life can suddenly become quite expensive. For students in particular, this increased financial burden can become a problem. But perhaps you are entitled to additional support? On the following pages, you can find out about state and private support options as a first step and decide whether these are suitable for you:
The Studierendenwerk Trier offers various support services for students at Trier's universities. Students at the Birkenfeld and Idar-Oberstein campuses can also take advantage of these services. The only exception is the Kids-for-free card. Unfortunately, this can only be offered where the Studierendenwerk runs the canteen, i.e. only at the Trier campus. At the Birkenfeld site, children up to the age of 6 eat for free when accompanied.
