During a mail server check, it was noticed that the configuration of some email clients only establish an unencrypted connection to the university's email server. The possibility of establishing this unencrypted connection was switched off by the computer center on 19.02.2024. The persons affected have been informed of this by email in the last two weeks.
Email clients must be configured with STARTTLS connection security in order to encrypt the password and content of messages during transmission.
