The "Bachelor of Arts - Business Administration" degree programme prepares you for a professional field of activity with an economic connection and conveys the necessary specialist and interdisciplinary knowledge, skills and methods. To that, the students are not only familiarized with the basic knowledge of the scientific and practical methods of business administration and the associated teaching areas (economics, private business law, business informatics), but also with key qualifications such as teamwork, presentation techniques and soft skills. The practical project in the sixth semester ideally enables a smooth transition from university to the private sector, into a free profession or in the upper grade of civil service.

The theoretical specialist knowledge in combination with the practical reference makes it possible to take on cross-sectoral activities worldwide and especially in Germany and Luxembourg. The optional specialization makes it possible to specialize in different areas and thereby focus on the professional future.
Possible employers after graduation are companies of various sizes in the fields of industry, trade, banking or insurance. Management consulting, auditing and tax advice are also possible areas of activity that can be imagined after studying business administration.
The degree programme is designed as a 6-semester full-time course and has a modular structure. Initially the general basics of business administration are laid with the basics of business administration and bookkeeping as well as internal company and investment accounting.
The subject-specific basics include the subject areas of financing, calculation & control, financial statements, decision and operational management, marketing & sales and logistics & production, which are supplemented by the associated teaching areas.
The professional integration is achieved primarily in the context of lectures in corporate management. The internationality of the program is guaranteed by the languages block, which provides for the compulsory attendance of two foreign language courses, as well as the international orientation of numerous courses.
The individual consolidation can be generalistic or focus-oriented; seven elective courses and two seminars must be taken from an extensive catalog of courses.
