Unlocking the Hidden Beauty of Gemstones: A Creative Journey
- Cutting, Drilling, Grinding and Polishing of Precious Stones
Immerse yourself in the world of stone working with this hands on course using professional lapidary equipment, including large grinding wheels and spindles. You will explore every stage of the process, starting from selecting your raw gemstones during a visit to local stone dealers, where you can choose the stones that inspire you the most.
I will guide you personally through shaping and developing forms, drilling and creating surface textures, as well as refining and polishing, helping you bring your unique vision to life.
Stone size and shape will vary, and each participant will create a unique piece through experimentation and personal exploration.
The program is the same in both the first and second week and attending two weeks gives you the chance to practice more deeply and take your skills to the next level.
