  Airport Frankfurt (FRA - for international flights, with a good train connection to Oberstein station) 
  ^{(yes, there is also Frankfurt-Hahn - for budget domestic flights but it has a very difficult connection to Idar - taxi is best...)} 

Each workshop week is preceded by a "get-together" on Sunday evening before classes start in one of the local pubs. Information will follow by email. Start of the courses on Monday at 9:00 with a welcome in the university.

There are 2 possibilities:

• If you are interested in a possibility of boarding at one of the Idar-Oberstein students (for about 30 €/night – you pay directly to your host), mark it on your application form and the ISA-team will get in touch with you. This is not a secured option - you will receive a link to our “Couchsurfing” Forum, where you can find offers and connect with our students.
• You can find/book your own lodging. Here below you will find an (incomplete) list
