A total of 78 graduates worldwide were selected for this year's Marzee Graduate Show, which is one of the most important platforms for young jewellery artists. This year, seven graduates from the "Gemstone and Jewellery" degree programmes from Idar-Oberstein will be on show: Nioosha Vaezzadeh Angoshtarsaz, Dua Fatima Baig, Chun Chang, Poras Dhakan, Xi Chen, Niyoushasadat Moosavi, Chidimma Omeke.
Every year, Galerie Marzee awards the prize "to some of the most promising graduates in recognition of their outstanding work." The winners receive an invitation to a one-week residency at the Ravary estate in Belgium, where they can further develop their artistic work.
With their success, Chidimma Omeke and Chun Chang are among the up-and-coming international talents who are helping to shape the future of contemporary jewellery. We are proud of their achievements and look forward to following their future careers.
Susie Heuberger, who completed her bachelor's degree in gemstones and jewellery at the Idar-Oberstein campus in 2021, was also awarded the Marzee Graduate Prize for her master's thesis.
The exhibition can be seen from 31 August to 19 November 2025 at Galerie Marzee in Nijmegen (Netherlands).
