Extranalities is a European jewellery collective that explores and investigates jewellery through dialogue and collaborative practice. The members were given access to the Jakob Bengel Foundation's Galalith collection for this exhibition, which led to some colourful creations: "Lost in Lust" was the inspiring working title. Works from various previous Extranalities exhibitions are also on display, so this is a retrospective. So there are works in which all the words in the exhibition title fit together perfectly or none at all... You never know... Viva Extranalities!
Extranalities are: Catarina Silva, Christoph Zellweger, Denise Reytan, Felieke van der Leest, Herman Hermsen, Peter Vermandere, Sara Gackowska, Sofia Björkman, Timothy Infomation Limited.
Opening: Friday, 31. October 2025, 6:30 pm at Villa Bengel and via livestream on the Jakob Bengel Foundation's Instagram channel, with a welcoming address by Peter Wenzel and an introduction by Wilhelm Lindemann.
