Two projects that were created at the Campus of Art and Design in Prof Christopher Ledwig's master's courses in communication design were selected by a jury of the ADC Creative Club in Stuttgart to be presented to an audience: "Tangible Type" by Marc Hary and "Posetype" by Michael Kress and Erik Seitz.

Tangible type
tangible type is an interactive media installation that explores the development of variable type systems and presents type to the user in a tangible way. Using a tangible user interface, the exhibit enables visitors to explore type in an explorative way. In the experiment, letters - similar to lead typesetting - can be set and haptically crushed, rotated or distorted within the resulting type design. The playful approach allows even inexperienced users to come into contact with variable technology.

The ADC Creative Club is an initiative from Stuttgart and will open its doors for the third time from 14 November to 17 November: Over four days, young professionals and students from universities all over Germany will present their work. Co-initiator of the event Prof. Dirk Wachowiak will lead through the programme on one evening together with Prof. Julia Kühne and Anika Kinghorst.
