From 18 to 26 October 2025, the exhibition will present a total of 25 projects by design graduates from various German universities at Area 51, Ketelhuisplein 18, Eindhoven. Curated by the renowned design studio Raw Colour, the show demonstrates how design reflects the past and present and envisions possible futures.
The Design Department of Trier University of Applied Sciences is also represented in Cologne: the Museum of Applied Arts Cologne (MAKK) is showing the exhibition ‘Dare to Design – Spaces of Care’ until 12 October 2025. It presents 45 outstanding final projects by graduates of German design universities – including two projects from our department: Martha Remus (Communication Design) with her work ‘Heute gab es Fruchtjoghurt’ (Today we had fruit yoghurt) and Poras Dhakan (Gemstone and Jewellery, Idar-Oberstein Campus) with his master's thesis ‘A Gift or a Theft – A call for the return of looted artefacts’.
