Student Financial Support (BAföG)

From the end of the fourth semester onwards, only those students who can demonstrate that they have ‘achieved the standard level of performance expected in the normal course of their studies up to the end of the relevant semester’ will receive financial support. The BAföG Act does not contain any provisions defining what is meant by the ‘normal course of studies’ or ‘standard level of performance’. This must be determined on a case-by-case basis for each degree programme.

You will receive confirmation (in the form of a signed form) that your course of study has been completed in good order from the Chair of the Examination Board for the Department of Computer Science.
