Seminar

The seminar is scheduled for the 6th semester of the Bachelor's degree programmes and usually for the 3rd semester of the Master's degree programmes. If you wish to take a seminar, you should select it in advance using the Module Reservation Tool (OSCAR).

Around two weeks before lectures begin, a Stud.IP. course is created for each seminar. Students are then informed by email that they can register for the respective course. This registration serves only as a non-binding expression of interest and does not constitute enrolment in the seminar or confirmation of a seminar topic. Lecturers may also use these Stud.IP courses to provide information about the seminar in advance.

At the beginning of the lecture period (usually on the first day of lectures), an information session is held by all lecturers offering a seminar. The seminar topics are presented and the subsequent registration process is explained. Topics are assigned in the days following this information session. Students who have selected the seminar using the Module Reservation Tool are given priority.
