Vita

Dr. Andreas Biesdorf is Professor for Business Information Systems at Trier University of Applied Sciences with a focus on Information Management and Digital Transformation. Emphasis of his work is on data and information management, database technologies, information systems, and the interaction among them through strategic architecture management.

Prior to joining our department, Dr. Biesdorf gained several years of practical experience, mainly in the industrial environment, most recently as a senior software architect and head of research group for Architecture Definition and Management at Siemens Technology in Munich and Erlangen.

His academic education includes stages at the Heidelberg University, the German Cancer Research Center, Heilbronn University as well as the University of Utah (USA).
