VoIP - Telephone and Fax

Voice over IP (abbreviated VoIP), also known as IP telephony, is our telecommunication technology in the area of telephony. This means that telephone calls, video calls, faxes and chats for all locations of the University of Applied Sciences Trier are transmitted via our campus network or our Internet connections. Both the connection setup and the voice transmission between the end devices and to the provider are exclusively encrypted.

On these pages you can get comprehensive information about your Deskphone (telephone device at work) and its functions. If any problems occur, please contact the VoIP Helpdesk.

And please do not disconnect your phone from the network independently, but let us know via the mentioned e-mail address if your phone needs to be reconnected.
