Young Jordanians study at the GJU according to the German UAS (University of Applied Sciences) model.

The five-year course is firmly practice- and application-oriented and German teachers make up a large proportion of the teaching staff. The course includes extensive German language instruction. There is also an obligatory year abroad in Germany.

On the German side, GJU is financially supported by DAADBMBF, GIZ  the state of Saxony-Anhalt.

In the last five years, 20 students from Jordan have already studied at the Trier University of Applied Sciences, and five employees have completed further training here. Conversely, students from the university can also spend a semester abroad there and receive an Erasmus scholarship in return. Additional information can be obtained from the international academic office of the university.
